Sara is an interior designer with over 14 years of experience in the design field and an international background spanning Italy, China, the Netherlands, Canada, and Portugal. Specialized in Architectural Psychology, her work focuses on the profound relationship between people and spaces, crafting tailor-made designs that address individual needs.
Sara’s approach emphasizes enhancing social dynamics, fostering wellbeing, and creating powerful environments that evoke emotions, tell stories, and immerse people in unique atmospheres. Her expertise spans Interior Design, Exhibitions, Education, and Design Research, with a distinctive focus on Spatial Storytelling, Emotional and Multisensory Design.
She holds a Double Master’s Degree in Interior Design from Politecnico di Milano and Environmental Art and Design from Tsinghua University of Beijing, further enriched by studies in Canada and Portugal. In 2022 she specialized in Architecture and Landscape Psychology from Università degli Studi di Padova with IUAV di Venezia.
Sara’s career began at Daniel Libeskind Studio in Milan, followed by four years in Beijing with CLOU Architects, where she led retail and educational interior projects.
In the Netherlands, she contributed to iconic office designs as Booking.com and ING Headquarters and Facebook office at HofmanDujardin.
She then joined Aroundtown Real Estate as a Senior Interior Designer under the art direction of Saar Zafrir, dedicating five years to designing luxury hospitality projects as Marriott Autograph Collection Hotels Cardo Rome and Cardo Brussels, translating narratives into immersive spaces and high-end interiors.
In 2024, Sara founded her studio, collaborating with diverse professionals and institutions. Her current projects span Workplaces, Residential, and Hospitality, tailoring designs to meet the unique needs of each client and project. She is also actively involved in designing exhibitions for museums and cultural events.
Sara serves as a Tutor at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture and contributes to various educational initiatives, collaborating with universities and Art schools on projects that explore Emotions, Wellbeing and Multisensory Design.
